It's a quiet neighborhood situated on Little Bearwallow Mountain, in the Hickory Nut Gorge. At the entrance to our neighborhood is a beautiful grassy (or snowy) field with a babbling stream leading down from the pond to the coffee shop. In the winter, our children love building snowmen in the field. Summer dusk is spent watching fireflies hover over the grass. The trees lining the field are Chestnut Trees and drop Chestnuts in abundance during the fall. And honestly, spring is unimaginable without personal witness to the nature in full bloom across the entire town of Gerton. It's hard to understand the beauty of the area without a visit in each season. To top it all off, kayaking and fishing is allowed in our HOA pond, and the neighbors are friendly and willing to give pointers if you're not already a bass fisher. - This cabin has stairs at both entrances and leading to the gazebo. - Pets are welcome with a $75 pet fee added at booking. - The property is non smoking.
