Privacy Policy

Leisr Stays manages and rents short term vacation properties across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Washington DC. This policy covers www.leisrstays.com and the enquiries and bookings that start on it.

When you send an enquiry through our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and whatever you write in your message. When you enquire about having us manage a property we also collect the property address and a link to any existing listing you share.

We use that information to answer you and to follow up about the enquiry. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry alone.

Like most websites, our hosting records standard technical information when a page is served: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running, to diagnose faults, and to detect abuse.

We also use Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. These set cookies and record how the site is used: pages viewed, how you arrived, roughly where in the world you are, and what you click. We use it to understand which pages and properties people find useful. Meta may use its pixel data to show you our advertising elsewhere.

Booking and payment do not happen on this website. When you choose Book Now you are taken to our booking system at book.leisrstays.com, which is operated for us by Hostaway. Your booking details and payment are handled there, under Hostaway's own processing and their payment providers.

We never see or store your card number on this website. We do receive the booking itself: your name, contact details, dates, guest count and the property booked, which we need in order to host you.

We keep this list specific rather than general, so you can see exactly who is involved:

• Hostaway runs our booking system and property management platform, and is where reservations and payments are processed.
• Supabase stores our property data and powers the forms on this site.
• Resend delivers the email when you submit a form.
• Railway hosts the website and keeps its server logs.
• Google provides Tag Manager, Analytics and the fonts the site loads.
• Meta receives pixel data for advertising measurement.
• CARTO and OpenStreetMap serve the map tiles on our property pages, and Fontshare serves typefaces. Loading these tells them your IP address, as any request to any server does.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our guests or our owners.

The analytics and advertising cookies described above are set by Google and Meta when you visit. Our booking system sets its own cookies to remember your language and your progress through a booking.

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Google offers an opt out add on for Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and you can limit advertising from Meta in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Blocking cookies does not stop you browsing or booking.

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. Booking records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in Google Analytics.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to admin@leisrstays.com and tell us what you would like. We will need to confirm who you are before acting on a request, and some information has to be kept where the law requires it, such as records of a completed booking.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights over your information, including the right to object to it being used for advertising. Ask us and we will help.

The site is served over an encrypted connection, payment is handled by our booking provider rather than by us, and access to our systems is limited to people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

This site is intended for adults booking accommodation. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Our pages link to other sites, including our booking system, our social accounts and local businesses we recommend. Once you are on another company's website their privacy policy applies, not ours.

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
