Our Story
Taking Care of People Is the Actual Job
Guests trust us with their precious time away. Owners trust us with a significant investment. Neither is small.
Leisr Stays was built on the belief that taking care of people is the actual job. What started as a small Airbnb operation in 2016 became a regional hospitality company, shaped by a deep care for guests and an instinct for clean systems.
Hurricane Helene reshaped the company in 2024. Most of our properties were in the Asheville region, and the recovery forced a sharper definition of who we wanted to be. What we kept learning along the way was that most owners we met had been let down by their previous management company. We saw a third path, combining the warmth that small operators are known for with the operational capability that scales, and built the company around it.
Today, we partner with growth minded owners to manage properties that guests actually want to come back to. The hospitality is old school. The technology is quiet. Both matter, and we don't sacrifice one for the other.

Ethan Layer
Managing Partner
Ethan and his wife Abby have 2 boys named Justus and Ezekiel and call Charlotte, NC home. He and Seth have been good friends since high school and have stayed closely connected in part for their shared passion for real estate investing and hospitality. Ethan has been a part of multiple software start ups and brings a very tech forward approach to his short term rental management to ensure a great experience for guests. After countless Youtube deep dives, he became a tiny house enthusiast and owns several tiny houses on land in greater Asheville, NC that are currently on Airbnb and managed by Leisr Stays.
Seth Good
General Partner
Seth was born and raised in Amherst, Virginia. He and his wife Britney have four beautiful children Jayce, Lilyana, Luka and Nyko. He graduated from Liberty Christian Academy and went on to study at Liberty University. Seth cut his time at Liberty University short in 2011 to join Frank Good Builders, a custom home builder in central Virginia. Since then Seth has become owner of Frank Good Builders and has started multiple companies and has obtained his real estate license. Through his experience, Seth has grown to love the hospitality industry and is passionate about short term rentals.
Chloe Kirubel
Director of Operations

Chloe spent her childhood and teenage years growing up in northern Ohio. She then moved to Greensboro, NC to get her education and play soccer at UNCG where she fell in love with the beautiful state of North Carolina. Chloe graduated with a degree in marketing and most recently got married in 2025. She's been a part of the Leisr Stays team from the very beginning and has grown passionate about hospitality. Chloe is a licensed North Carolina real estate broker and is very excited to continue to watch Leisr Stays thrive!
Yosimar Flores

Yosimar was raised in Mexico, where he spent most of his childhood and part of his teenage years. He now lives in Charlotte, NC with his girlfriend Alina and their dog Celesta. After graduating from Butler High School, he attended UNCC to study Computer Science before deciding to pursue a career in real estate. He obtained his real estate broker license and began investing and self managing short term rentals, gaining valuable hands on experience and building a strong foundation in the industry. This passion for real estate and technology eventually led him to join Leisr Stays.

Tim and his wife are happily married and the proud parents of three children. They call NC home and stay actively involved in their local community. With over 15 years of real estate experience, he has built a strong background in property management, investment strategy, and brokerage compliance. As Broker in Charge for Leisr Stays, Tim oversees trust accounting, regulatory compliance, and operational systems, ensuring owners are protected, assets are optimized, and every guest enjoys a five star experience. Tim is passionate about real estate as a vehicle for both financial freedom and exceptional guest experiences.
