We really enjoyed our stay for our 16th wedding anniversary. It was very peaceful sitting and listening to the stream from the porch above. The entrance was a little tight getting into the cabin but was nice once you got in and turned around if you’re in a suv or smaller. The bedroom closer to bathroom on lower level felt like it had a bit of moisture and sheets felt a bit moist. The other room felt fine so we slept in there with no issues. The decor was very nice and cozy and the porch had plenty of space to relax. We really enjoyed our stay at the rustic cabin retreat.

The cabin was great for what we needed but the ability to schedule early checkin or late checkout was not great at all. Having to message repeatedly while trying to enjoy a vacation is not ideal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rushing Creek Cabin near Sylva. Between the secluded location and flowing creek, it was peaceful and relaxing. It was a great location for access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and exploring the national forests in the region. Keep in mind that it is some distance into the city of Sylva so pick up what you need ahead of time, but there is a Dollar General close by if you need just a few things. The cabin was clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The outdoor balconies, grilling deck, and fire pit are wonderful if you enjoy spending time outside like us. Communication with the owner was fast and helpful with any issues. Hope to return in the future to spend more time exploring the Nantahala River and Pisgah National Forest.

Great cabin for those with no mobility issues. Access from front parking is extremely steep. Only one vehicle can drive up to the back entrance.

This was an amazing place and a great cabin! From the rushing creek sounds, amazing fire pit, huge porches, and well equipped kitchen, this is a great place to stay. The drive was much more elevated than anticipated but after the first time it was no problem. This is an incredible place that gives you the opportunity to be in a remote location with great temps and a lush environment!

The home was cozy with beautiful porches and a nice firepit area outside. Furniture was comfortable. Location was peaceful and beautiful. Loved the sound of the stream. There is not a dishwasher - otherwise, the kitchen was well-stocked. We ate almost every meal at the house. Both bedrooms are located downstairs. There is a full bath both upstairs and downstairs. When we were not at the house, we spent most of our time hiking trails on the nearby Blueridge Parkway and exploring downtown Sylva. Overall, the home was a nice place to relax, read a good book on one of the porches, hike on the Parkway, and explore downtown Sylva.
