However, plenty to do around in nature as well as great restaurants and breweries with Waynesville being under 20 mins away, Sylva ~10 mins, and Asheville is an easy highway drive ~40 mins. You can get to the beautiful Smokey Mountain National park entrance near Cherokee in ~35 mins as well.
