Secret Garden Getaway: Couple or Individual; Mountain View; 20 mins to Asheville; hiking; Great Smokey Mtns. *1300 sq ft 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment with full kitchen; living area *Amazing mtn view *20 minute drive to Asheville *15 minute walk to local brewery and a few restaurants. *Smokey Mountains or Blue Ridge Parkway and outdoor activities. *Free washer and dryer use *Owner lives upstairs in a separate apartment *For longer stays, essential supplies are given for the beginning A 1300 sq. ft. apartment with a spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, full bath with walk in shower, a spacious bedroom with a king bed, dresser, closet, and a private patio with outdoor seating and fire pit. Looking for a cozy retreat to get away and rest or walk 15 minutes to a small restaurant or brewery? For a booking a month or longer a laundry room is available. PARKING: Please note you are allowed 1 car max. SLEEPING: King bed in a spacious bedroom with a dresser, bedside tables, and closet. COOKING: A fully equipped kitchen with a coffee/tea station, refrigerator, microwave, oven, hot pot and many other things that will allow you to cook meals. Fully equipped bathroom with a walk in shower, plus a blow dryer. CELL SERVICE/ INTERNET: The property has fast, strong internet and cell service. OUTDOOR ACTIVITY The private patio off the apartment is spacious with outdoor seating for lounging and eating. There is also an outdoor fire pit. Wood is available. You have access to the "Secret Garden" at the top of the property (signs will guide you). This is a tiered garden that my parents created before "green" was even thought of. They reused materials from the house and also tires to create walls, paths and special places for sitting peacefully or meditating or just reading. You will not be able to tell you are in a small town but feel like you are in a forest. SURROUNDING AREAS Downtown Canton, a 15 minute walk, has a relaxing brewery on the river, a great used bookstore on main street with comfy couches along with Papertown Coffee right down the street. Jros and Grateful Table on the same street have great food. 20 Minutes to the east is Asheville, and 15 minutes to the west in Waynesville, you’ll find dining, coffee, music, and nightlife. The Blue Ridge Parkway has hiking trails, 20 minutes away, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just an hour away. Lots of mountain biking in Asheville or a new park opening up right outside Canton (Chestnut Mountain). 20 Minutes to the east is Asheville, and 15 minutes to the west in Waynesville, you’ll find dining, coffee, music, and nightlife. The Blue Ridge Parkway has hiking trails, 20 minutes away, and Great Smokey Mountains National Park is just an hour away. No smoking or vaping anywhere on property. We love animals but cannot accommodate pets at this time. Only those who have rented can be on property; no guests unless pre-approved with owner. No events. You have your own parking spot (*please note its 1 car max*). You will have private access to the patio. The "Secret Garden" is shared with the owner or guests at the "tiny house" on property. The neighborhood is quiet and close to downtown Canton. You can walk or drive to a coffee shop, a few restaurants, hair salons and a local bath products store. small town neighborhood; walk to local brewery or restaurant or drive to Asheville or Waynesville. Drive to the mountains Please note that there is a foyer that has a door to the apartment on your right and a door to the left for laundry. We just want you to be aware in case the homeowner or our cleaning staff happens to be getting some laundry done!
