Near Black Mountain & Walk to Montreat Hiking!

Our stay was wonderful! The house is clean, comfortable, and beautifully arranged with maximum functionality in every space. With a large group, the sinks in the bedrooms were especially helpful. The owners were quick to respond when the house had a mechanical issue, and provided plenty of sheets, towels, and amenities. It is worth noting that the basement stairs have a low height-clearance. Not a reason not to stay, but something to plan for if some of your group is on the tall side.We especially loved our time around the fire pit out back. Everything about this house was perfect for us, and we're already hoping to re-book!

Very nice great location! Need more info about cable available or bring your own streaming. Foosball and porch great for rainy day. Need sign for warning over bottom floor stair for low headspace. Some conflicting information between pre and during messages. All things considered, a wonderful stay in beautiful Montreat.

Excellent property in the heart of Montreat and so close to downtown Bkack Mountain. Plenty of space, AC and Heat worked great, and the beds were so comfortable! Tons of kitchen appliances and tools, just overall great house! We will return!

We had some issues, however Leisr Stays worked with us & had the issues resolved. We had 8 people the first week & 7 people the second week of our Mission groups stay as we came down to NC to perform rebuilding from Hurricane Helene. The house was a great fit for 8 people.

Only issues were lots of empty beer cans left in trash can by prior guests (or neighbors) and dog hair in all of the beds. Everything else was great and much appreciated. Regard's.

The property was very nice with the highlights being the front porch, back patio with Firepit and the Foozball game.It was a good size for our family of four, and could easily accommodate a larger family or group of up to 10 or so. We had invited another family to stay with us, and we are sort of glad they couldn't make it as we don't know them that well and we might have been too much on top of us. It would be great for two medium families that know each other well however.The location was great for the conference, going to the playground and stream. There are a lot of stairs- that is not unusual for Montreat and fine for us- but would be an issue for people with mobility issues. I think they make that clear on the listing.I give it a good plus rating, not quite excellent, only because the dishwasher was broken when we arrived. The manager told us that (good), but didn't make any attempt to fix it or offer any compensation back for the inconvenience. Also, while the kitchen was fairly well stocked, there were a few items (cheese grater toilet paper etc) that we could not fine and/or were it sort of short supply.Overall we would happily stay there again, although as I am aging and getting less mobile I might look for a property with a few less stairs.
