Rent this house! Pictures do not do it Justice! Wonderful, perfectly decorated home within walking distance of downtown food, activities, and more. From the retro coffee maker and microwave in the kitchen to the wide plank floors and historic marker on the front of the house, this place had all of the charm with none of the downsides of a historic home. Tons of extras like coffee to brew and toiletries in the bathroom. The host was helpful in planning both our stay and providing information about local attractions and activities so we could decide how to spend our time. We built our schedule around several of the kid-friendly activities in the guidebook they provided. We walked downtown twice during our two-day stay and enjoyed seeing the variety of other homes in the historic neighborhood. It was a great trip and we had plenty of space. Highly recommend!

Very pretty property and well decorated. It was impressive home a house built in 1850 could be given all the modern conveniences we had during our stay. All the rooms were just as pictured and everything was comfortable and inviting. Check-in process was a little rocky as we were given the wrong door code numerous times. We were initially confused as to ask how to access one of the bedrooms because it is downstairs in a separate Suite from everything else. However everybody responded to us as quickly as possible and we were able to resolve everything in a little less than an hour. This property is located in the Diamond Hill historic district which is filled with beautiful houses and historic streets, making it a great place to say compared to some of the other places we've stayed in condos and newer developments. All in all we would recommend this property and will try to stay here again the next time we visit Lynchburg.
